2020 Suzuki Hayabusa Launched in India
Suzuki motorcycles India has launched the final lot of BS 4 Hayabusa at 13.75 lakhs INR (ex-showroom Delhi). Suzuki has named this as 2020 edition of the legendary busa. The new 2020 edition is available in two colours – candy daring red and metallic thunder red. the bike will be available in limited numbers.
The bike is bought in India via the CKD ( completely Knocked down Unit ) route and is assembled in Gurgaon factory. It is the first big bike to be assembled in India. Deliveries of the bike will begin on January 20, 2020. It gets a new set of front brake callipers. although, there are no mechanical changes from the previous year model. India is one of few countries where the current generation Hayabusa are still available for sale.

The New busa is powered by the same 1340 cc, inline-four-cylinder engine. The motor is capable of producing 199.7 hp of maximum power at 9,500 rpm and 155 Nm of maximum torque at 7,200 rpm.

Engine components
The engine employs Suzuki’s advanced EFI with two 10-hole fuel injectors. It helps to feed each cylinder and dual ram air intakes in the nose of the aerodynamic fairing.

Suzuki Composite Electrochemical Material (SCEM) cylinder plating helps heat dissipation and durability. The U-shaped cutouts in the cylinder-bore sides allow air pressure to reduce.
Hayabusa performance
The Hayabusa can accelerate from 0-100 KMPH in just 2.74 sec. The motor is capable of reaching a top speed of 299 Kmph, which is electronically limited.

Brakes
To stop this monster on two wheels, you need to have some great braking and electronic hardware onboard and Suzuki ensures that. The front has 4 pistons, 310 mm, twin disc setup, while the rear end has single 260 mm, Nissin, 1 piston single disc setup. The front calipers have been updated in the new 2020 model.

Suspensions
Suspension duties are taken care of by Inverted telescopic forks at the front end while the rear is equipped with a link type, single shock, coil spring, oil damped setup. KYB inverted cartridge forks feature Diamond-Like Carbon (DLC) coating on the 43mm stanchion tubes to reduce friction and improve reaction to small road surface irregularities. The front as well as the rear suspensions have fully adjustable spring preload and compression and rebound damping.

The bike weighs 266 kg and it requires a little bit of strength to manoeuvre it around. the seat height of the bike is 805 mm. It has a good fuel tank capacity, which is helpful when riding for long-distance. The fuel tank capacity is 21 litres.
