The Dominar 200 will be powered by a 200cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled, fuel-injected engine. The Motor will churn out 25 ps of maximum power and 19 Nm of peak torque. The power figure may vary and will depend on how bajaj tunes the new engine. If it produces 25PS then it will be the most powerful 200cc bike in the market after Duke 200.

The braking duties will be taken care of by a 300mm four-pot piston caliper disc brake at the front and 230mm single-piston floating caliper disc brake at the rear. The inclusion of dual-channel ABS will further increase the braking performance and will help the rider in a panic braking situation.
The suspension on the new Dominar 200 could be an upside-down fork at the front end, But Bajaj may also consider telescopic front forks to keep cost in check. However, the rear suspension will be a monoshock setup.
The major dimension like the wheelbase, seat height, and ground clearance will be similar to the 400. The curb weight of the Dominar 200 will be lesser than its bigger sibling as it will use a lighter 200cc engine.
