Yamaha FZ-10 Overview
The Yamaha FZ 10 comes with an aggressive-looking design that resembles an alien machine. This streetfighter is powered by an inline 4-cylinder crossplane crankshaft engine that is mated to a six-speed constant-mesh gearbox. Its engine is liquid-cooled and it uses a YCC-T throttle body that gives it crisp acceleration. The rider gets to choose between three power delivery modes and it also gets cruise control. The Yamaha FZ-10 makes 158 HP of max power and 111 Nm of peak torque.
The FZ 10 comes equipped with 43 mm KYB inverted forks at the front end and a KYB piggyback reservoir mono-shock suspension at the rear end. Both the suspensions allow full adjustability. Like its younger siblings, Yamaha R6 and MT-09, it is also based on an aluminium Deltabox frame. For braking, the Yamaha FZ-10 relies on dual 320 mm disc brakes at the front wheel and a single 220 mm disc brake at the rear wheel. It is equipped with safety features like dual-channel ABS and traction control.
