Royal Enfield 250cc Overview
The design of the upcoming Royal Enfield 250cc bike will be based on the bigger RE Classic 350. It will carry a retro classic design. It will be equipped with a round headlamp, turn indicators and mirror that will give it a retro touch. RE 250 will feature a chiselled fuel tank like its bigger sibling. Royal Enfield may also add some modern features like LED headlamps and alloy wheels to make it more relevant.
This upcoming RE will be powered by a 250cc single-cylinder, air-cooled engine. Now Royal Enfield has started using fuel-injection technology in its bike, so this one most likely will also come with a fuel-injected engine. The Royal Enfield 250cc is expected to produce nearly 15-16 HP of maximum power and 22 NM od peak torque. It will be mated to a 5-speed manual transmission likes its bigger sibling the Royal Enfield Thunderbird 350x.
It will be based on the single down-tube frame like its bigger siblings from the classic series. The Royal Enfield 250cc will come with telescopic front forks and dual gas-charged rear shock absorbers. To stay in the competition, Royal Enfield might give this quarter-litre disc brakes at both the front and rear wheel. The suspension might be specifically tuned to take on bad roads and harsh terrains.
Only time will tell, whether it will come with spoke wheels or alloy wheels. If it comes with alloy wheels it will also be equipped with tubeless tyres. The Instrument cluster of the Royal Enfield 250cc might be a digital-analogue unit like the new RE Meteor 350. Lastly, we hope it has a solid exhaust note like the other Royal Enfield machines.
