The CX-5 comes with two powertrain options, a 2.5L 4-Cylinder DOHC setup and a 2.5L 4-Cylinder turbocharged setup. The base 2.5L powertrain churns out 187 HP of peak power and 252 Nm of peak torque. While the turbocharged 2.5L powertrain churns out 250 HP of peak power and 433 Nm of peak torque.
Both the powertrain comes mated to a 6-speed automatic gearbox. You get the options to choose between an FWD drivetrain or an i-Active AWD drivetrain. The Mazda CX-5 comes with disc brakes on all four wheels and it also gets ABS & brake assist. It comes with a well-equipped cabin and all the important driver assistance and safety features.
