We researched a lot, but we couldn’t find a lot of modified examples that were worth a mention here. However, There is one modified thunderbird 350x from Haldankar Customs that is worth an applause. Here is the best-modified example of the 350X we could find on the internet.
Royal Enfield Thunderbird 350X Modified By Haldankar Customs
Haldankar Customs is a Mumbai based motorcycle & car customization company. This time they took a stock thunderbird 350x and redesigned it to look like a naked roadster bike. The modified thunderbird 350x has been named as X-350 by Haldankar Customs.
The changes on the Thunderbird 350x modified version includes revised body panels, new suspension setup, lighting, handlebar, front discs and tyres. The modified version gets matte grey colour and it looks completely different from the stock version. Also, it resembles the design of a naked roadster bike the Suzuki 650 SV.
Overview of The Modified Thunderbird 350X
Starting from the front, the stock headlamp has been replaced with a round-shaped Full LED unit. The round headlamp retains the retro feel of the bike. The stock front forks have been replaced by USD forks from KTM, the chunkier USD forks gives it a muscular front end look.
The front turn indicators are placed near the number plate holder below the headlamp. Also, the Instrument console on the modified thunderbird 350x has been replaced by a round-shaped semi-digital console. The instrument console is placed asymmetrically and it features an analogue tachometer while the other information are shown on LCD unit.
Thunderbird 350x modified version also uses a KTM sourced flat aluminium handlebar. The flat handlebar offers a sportier and engaging ergonomics. It continues to use dual-shock absorbers at the rear end. Also, the front brake has been replaced with a KTM sourced disc unit, while at the back it uses a petal disc unit.
The bodywork on the modified thunderbird 350x is also completely different. It uses a chiselled fuel tank, on the fuel tank it boasts the X-350 badge. The modified version features a revised rear section that uses aftermarket taillights and indicators. It also gets a custom rear fender that covers the rear wheel and the rear number plate is placed to the left side of the bike.
The X-350 uses the stock alloy wheels, but the front and rear tyre has been replaced. It runs on a 120 sections front tyre and 180 sections rear tyre. The wider tyres give it a more aggressive roadster look. It is also equipped with an auxiliary light that placed near the instrument cluster.

Build Time & Cost
This beautiful roadster took a total of three months to complete. The price of this customization came around Rs 1.6 lakhs which is almost same as the price stock thunderbird. The high modification cost is because a lot of stock parts has been replaced, adding to the total price.
Our Verdict
This was the best-modified example of the thunderbird 350x we could find, period. This modified roadster slightly resemble the Suzuki SV650. It retains the retro feel of the bike, while it also uses modern equipment like USD forks & LED headlamps. We totally love this mod job, it looks muscular and classy.
