Design & Styling: The Honda CB150R design is inspired by its bigger sibling the CB250R & CB1000R. It has the same neo-retro design with modern touches like LED lighting and an LCD Console. The shape fuel tank design and the chunkier 41mm golden coloured USD forks give it an aggressive stance. Without a doubt, the CB150R is one of the best looking 150cc bikes in the market.
Engine & Performance: It is powered by a 149cc single-cylinder, DOHC, 4-Valves engine. The engine of Honda CB150R is liquid-cooled, fuel-injected and it comes mated to a six-speed transmission. It churns out 16.1 HP of maximum power at 9,500 RPM and 13.6 Nm of peak torque at 8,000 RPM. The CB150R has a top speed of 128 Kmph and it returns a mileage figure of 42-25 Kmpl.
Frame & Suspension: It is based on an inner pivot type diamond frame like its sibling the Honda CBR 150R. The chassis of this mini-streetfighter is very lightweight and compact. Suspension duties on the Honda CB150R are taken care of by a 41mm upside-down front forks and a hydraulic rear mono-shock. The suspension setup is fine-tuned to perform on both city roads and highways. Also, the golden coloured forks add the premium touch to the bike.
Brakes & Wheels: It comes with a 296 mm radially mounted, 4-piston callipers disc brakes at the front wheel and a 220 mm hydraulic disc brakes at the rear wheel. If it is priced below 1.5 lakhs rupees then it will pose a serious competition to the Yamaha MT-15 and the KTM Duke 125.
