The GT125R comes with a unique fully-faired design that looks sporty. This mini supersport is powered by a 124cc, twin-cylinder, 4-stroke engine that is air-cooled. Its engine is mated to a 5-speed transmission but instead of a fuel-injection system, it uses a conventional carburettor for fuel supply. The Hyosung GT125R makes 14.2 HP of max power at 10,500 RPM and 9.7 Nm of max torque at 10,000 RPM.
It comes fitted with an inverted telescopic fork at the front and a swingarm linked mono-shock suspension at the rear. The GT125R comes with twin disc brakes on the front wheel, which is a little unusual for a 125cc bike, while at the rear wheel it gets a single disc brake. The Hyosung GT125R weighs only 120 kg and it has a fuel tank capacity of 17 litres. It misses out on ABS and slipper clutch like its competitors the Ninja 125 and Yamaha R125.

Currently, the GT125R is sold in limited European countries only. But, the brand might introduce this model in the Indian market in future. The Hyosung GT125R price in India is expected to be around Rs 1,30,000 (Ex-Showroom Price). Once, launched it will be the cheapest bike in India from the Hyosung stable. It will compete with the KTM RC 125 and the Upcoming Pulsar RS 125 in India.
Verdict on Hyosung GT125R
GT125R is a really good sports bike for beginners. It comes with a sporty design and it is equipped with a powerful twin-cylinder motor that churns out a decent amount of power. It is lightweight and agile and it also has great handling. There are some features that it misses out on but overall the Hyosung GT125R is a good beginner sports bike.
