Overview of Aprilia RS 125
Design: Aprilia RS 125 has an elegant looking fully faired body. The baby RS 125 design is inspired by its bigger sibling the RSV4. It has the RS4 DNA in its design language and completely resembles its bigger siblings. The tri headlamp setup looks sophisticated and gives it good face. It is available in two colours black and silver, along with a GP replica paint scheme model. RS 125 is one of the most beautiful and premium looking, entry-level supersport that you can buy.
Engine & Performance: RS 125 is powered by a 124.2 CC, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled, fuel-injected, DOHC engine. It is equipped with a Magneti Marelli M3G ECU and the engine is mated to a six-speed gearbox. The motor churns out 14.7 BHP of maximum power at 10,750 RPM and 10.9 Nm of peak torque at 8,000 RPM. The Aprilia RS 125 can achieve a top speed of 128 KMPH. Aprilia also provides an optional Quick-shifter as an accessory.
Frame & Suspension: It uses an aluminium perimeter chassis that is durable and lightweight. The suspension duties on the front end are taken care of by a 41mm USD forks and a mono-shock linked with an Asymmetric swingarm at the rear end. The suspension setup allows a 110 mm of front wheel travel and a 120 mm of rear-wheel travel.
Brakes and Wheels: Aprilia RS 125 is equipped a 300 MM stainless steel disc brake with radially-mounted 4-piston callipers at the front wheel and a 218 mm single-piston calliper disc at the rear wheel. It comes with BOSCH 9.1 ML one-channel ABS. It comes with a 17-inch diameter, 6 split design alloy wheels. The alloy looks good as well as it is very lightweight.

As of now, there are no launch plans for RS 125 in India. However, There were rumours of launch of its bigger sibling the RS 150 in India. But if Aprilia decided to launch this little gem for the Indian market, it will be priced in the range of 1.4 to 1.55 Lakhs INR. It will compete with Yamaha R15 V3 and KTM RC 125 in terms of pricing in India.
Verdict On Aprilia RS 125
Aprilia RS 125 is a great all-rounder machine if you looking for a bike for learning. The power is restricted to 15 PS but still, it will take you to 130 KMPH. Also, it is fun to ride and engaging bike, so even if you are using it for daily commutes or just beginning to learn to ride it will keep you engaged.
The motor of RS 125 is smooth and reliable. It is a well-built bike and is very reliable even for prolonged use. Aprilia also offers an option for quick-shifter as an add-on accessory. So, if you are planning to take this mini beast to track, quick-shifter will help shave off some seconds from lap timings.
Aprilia RS 125 is loaded with high-quality hardware requirements like the fat USD forks and large-diameter front disc. It has a single-channel ABS, so the rear end will still slide if you slam the rear brakes. The riding posture is not much aggressive and if you plan to go for a long ride it will not be hard on your back.
