Overview of Aprilia RS 125
Design: The Aprilia RS 125 has an elegant looking fully faired body design. The latest model is offered in two colour options, Aprilia Black and Sintesi Blue. Its design is inspired by its bigger siblings like the RS 660 and RS V4. It comes with a signature tri headlamp unit and sleek body faring. The RS 125 looks premium head to toe and it is one of the best looking supersport bike in its class.
Engine & Performance: The RS 125 is powered by a 124.2 cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled, fuel-injected, DOHC engine. It is equipped with a Magneti Marelli M3G ECU and the engine is mated to a six-speed gearbox. It churns out 15 PS of maximum power at 10,000 rpm and 11 Nm of peak torque at 8,000 rpm. The Aprilia RS 125 has a top speed of 128 km/h, which is really impressive for a 125cc bike.
Frame & Suspension: It uses a lightweight & durable aluminium perimeter chassis like the Aprilia GPR 150. The suspension duties on the front end are taken care of by 41mm USD forks and a mono-shock linked with an asymmetric swingarm at the rear end. The suspension on Aprilia RS 125 allows front wheel travel of 110 mm and rear-wheel travel of 120 mm.
Brakes and Wheels: Aprilia RS 125 is equipped with a 300 MM stainless steel disc brake with radially-mounted 4-piston callipers at the front wheel and a 220 mm single-piston calliper disc at the rear wheel. The new model comes wit h BOSCH dual-channel ABS with anti roll over system. It runs on 17-inch alloy wheels with tubeless tyres.
