Hero Karizma 300 Overview
The new Karizma 300 will come with a fully-faired body that will give it a sporty look. The new model will be powered by a single-cylinder fuel-injected engine that will be mated to a 6-speed gearbox. Its engine will be liquid-cooled and it will meet the latest BS6 emission norms. The Hero Karizma 300 max power output could be in the range of 24-26 HP, while its peak torque output will be in the range of 20-22 Nm.
It will be based on a newly developed lightweight chassis. The Karizma 300 will be fitted with telescopic forks at the front end and a mono-shock absorber with adjustable preload at the rear end. For braking, it will rely on disc brakes at both the wheel and it will also get dual-channel ABS as standard. The Hero Karizma 300 will come with features like a digital LCD console with inbuilt navigation and smartphone connectivity, full LED lighting, and radial tyres.
Hero Karizma 300 Price in India and Launch Date
As per the report coming from the Indian automotive industry, the Karizma 300 is still in the initial research and development stage. It could take a while before it is introduced in the Indian market. This sports bike is expected to make its debut next year at one of the auto shows. The Hero Karizma 300 price in India is expected to be around Rs 1,80,000 (Ex-Showroom).
Once the Hero Karizma 300 will launch it will compete with Suzuki Gixxer 250, TVS Apache RR 310, KTM RC 200, and the Bajaj Pulsar RS250. Hero Moto Corp will have to price it very competitively against its competitors in the Indian market. The entry-level premium sports bikes segment is very competitive and Hero will have to equip it with new-age features like riding modes, supermoto ABS, and slipper clutch.
