Design & Styling: The GSX250R carries a very sophisticated fully-faired body design that is highly inspired by the bigger bikes from the Suzuki GSXR series. The latest model of Suzuki GSX250R is available in three colour options to choose from. Engine & Performance: Suzuki GSX250R is powered by a 248cc parallel-twin, fuel-injected, SOHC, engine. It churns out 24.7 HP of max power at 8,000 RPM and 23.3 Nm of peak torque at 6,500 RPM. This twin-cylinder bike is capable of reaching a top speed of 145 km/hr. The GSX 250R has great midrange performance making it a great choice for commuting.
Frame & Suspension: It is based on a semi-double-cradle frame that is lightweight and compact. Suzuki GSX250R comes with oil-damped telescopic front forks and oil-damped mono-shock at the rear. Braking duties are taken care of by a 2-piston Nissin calliper disc brake at the front wheel and a 1-piston Nissin calliper disc brake at the rear wheel. Suzuki also offers a variant with dual-channel ABS.

The Gixxer SF is already doing decent business for Suzuki in the Indian market and hence the manufacturer might not bring the international twin-cylinder variant to India anytime soon.
The demand for premium entry-level bikes is growing constantly in India. If Suzuki launches a more powerful version of the GSX 250R then it can compete with the Apache RR310 and Duke 250. The price of the Suzuki GSX250R in India could be in the range of Rs 2.5 – 2.8 Lakhs INR.
